Srsly though...

Its a date if you call it a date. Making someone dinner at home can be a date. Going for a walk around the neighbourhood can be a date. Going out for ice cream can be a date. Etc...

Went for dinner in dt then drove down to spanish banks and chilled there for a bit in the dark. Went back to my place afterwards and did some more chilling until i dropped her home.

Holy been a while since i went on a date

went for dinner and ice cream at amato gelato on 1st ave, walked around the olympic village after and sat around the dock area while there was some random guy playing some music on the piano near by to set the mood haha

Went to The Keg with the lady, had an awesome dinner. Spent a good 3 hours hanging out and talking, yummy desert and then home to the kids.
Great time, always love going out with the lady for a good date.

That was my biggest problem for the longest time with the gf, all the activities, places we went etc, I considered those dates and she didn't. So we try to do at least 1 "date" a week now. Make dinner together...bike the sea wall, go for a hike...

Ps, that date roulette thing we did...turns out works quite well...instead of doing stupid things to do through the night, we both wrote date ideas that we want to go on in general. Threw em in a jar and pull one out.

This weekend we've got bday dinners to tend to, so next weekends date is to go horse back riding :)

Last date we went on was a 5k run on the Sea wall and lunch at Granville Island.

Oh we went to the Running Room prior to the run as she wanted to try on new runners.

We just came back from a road trip down to Cali, but it was with my family as well.

Hmm.. lets see.

Went to a coffee shop. Got Japanese Katsu. Walked around a park. Walked across the city for 2 hours. Had great conversation.

The last date I went on was 8 months ago

Boxing day; West Edmonton mall.....
We didn't buy shit; drove back in Calgary to have dinner with my friends at a fancy steakhouse

Bike to the to aquarium, oh wait... It's closed. Thank god I brought a bottle of wine and a few glasses in my backpack. Enjoyed the sunset on a bench on the backside of Stanley Park. Bikes home, grabbed a bite to eat at a neat little joint near by. Chatted up a neighbouring table. Went back to my place. Another successful night, despite bad planning :p

Saturday day/night:

We took my pup to obedience school, after that we dropped him at my house with my parents/brother.
Then we went shopping at metro, I got to pick out some clothes for her, and she helped me pick out a new belt and wallet.

Grabbed ice cream from purdys and sat on the bench n did some ppl watching till we were done eating.
Went to west van to eat at a Thai restaurant, then back to her house in the ridge to cuddle up in bed and watch the goonies.

Mature adult things happened after that though....
