Heads up: Thief breaking into cars in Collingwood Area For anyone who's living around the Kingsway and Joyce area, I woke up to both my car and my gf's car being broken into. The only thing the asshole took was pennies and change from hidden compartments in both cars. Ironically enough looks like this person was targeting Honda Civics in the neighborhood. |
glad I live in surrey! :fuckthatshit: but srs, was anything trashed? or did they break into it nicely "no damage" |

My car on the other hand, smashed my driver side window hard that the broken glass is all over the interior. The thief rummage everything on the driver side and center console only to make a mess and steal some change that was hidden. |
Thanks for the heads up, keep an eye out err body |
You wouldn't have that problem if you had a Lexus or a Mercedes. |

This will never get old. |
I was a few blocks west of Boundary close to Kingsway. Happened to me a few weeks ago. Nothing was stolen. Same people :considered: Spoiler! |
Tempted to put up a sign in my car like what a certain motorcycle instructor used to do back in the day: "nothing to steal here, go sell drugs, make more money". Anyone who went through Action Motorcycling School in Surrey (now PRS?) 10+ years ago knows who I'm talking about. |
^LOL, reminds me of this car I saw a few weeks back. https://fbcdn-sphotos-a-a.akamaihd.n...71141312_n.jpg |
^ yet you can clearly see there is a plastic bag inside the car that can get stolen. For thieves, it doesn't matter if they don't know what's inside but that is like a gold mine for them.. |
I don't understand why thieves bother wasting time breaking into one's car and stealing some change. They are better off finding a job and making minimum wage to fund their lifestyle, most likely drugs. Besides, they'll get more money from working. They obviously don't want to go to the extend to strip out the goodies on TypeRNammer's car and sell it for money. I guess thieves are so damn stupid to consider looking for a job, so they end up stealing  |
we live in the same neighbourhood. thanks for the heads up. |
You know how long it takes to fill out applications? It's hard out here for a junkie. Posted via RS Mobile |
Opps |

I was just parked on Stamford Street there and there was a police officer that was looking around to see if my car was damaged. Didn't touch my car thankfully. |
Any places you guys recommend to replace the driver side glass for my ep3? EDIT: talked to one of my neighbors and his car gotten broken into also on the same night. |
I always used to leave the change compartments empty and open. I'd suggest that |
:fulloffuck: fkin theives have nothing better to do than to rummage through cars? |

BTW is the bait car program still active? I haven't heard any awareness ad for it in recent years. |
Unfortunately Civics are pretty easy to break into. I've had to break into a couple of my friends in the past in order to get the keys they left inside. Sooo damn easy. :okay: That sucks, though. Hope they catch the guy(s) that did this. |
Yes they are but they are into bikes now... they caught someone up in Whistler recently. Also as in the mailbox thread.. you can leave a package with something nice and juicy like this, and see if the theives take it. Quote:
