i could see him being jimmy olsen

Benedict Cumberbatch

I think Benedict Cumberbatch would be the perfect Batman for the new movie. Since he's suppose to be 'darker' and more 'experienced' in this one. Imagine him talking about his parents' deaths as Bruce in the same tone he did as Kahn in Star Trek about his crew mates. Link:

Gal Gadot is playing Wonder Woman??? wat?? She's so frail looking..

If you didn't know, she's Han's gf in FF6
Gal Gadot Cast As WONDER WOMAN In BATMAN VS SUPERMAN!

Apparently Flash is making an appearance in this movie too. This is starting to turn into a Justice League move rather than Batman vs Superman..
http://www.comicbookmovie.com/fansit.../news/?a=90959

Hopefully both these roles are only cameos leading up to a Justice League movie!

rsx 12-04-2013 06:19 PM

I actually don't mind that casting. Sure glad they didn't get some big tittied blonde pornstar looking broad.

I think she can pull of the amazonian look. Maybe just needs a few more lbs.

Wongtouski 12-04-2013 06:37 PM

She's hot, would have been even better if they found someone with bigger tits (like Lynda Carter back in the day), but I guess in the modern version they're looking to cast someone different. She has an accent though and I'm not sure if she can act (I've only seen her in Fast series...)

kwy 12-04-2013 06:42 PM

I agree with her looking too frail..wonder woman isn't some runway model, she's tough. The actress that plays her should have that kind of edge.

Jaimie Alexander who played Sif from Thor has that factor. The good-looking-but-can-also kick-your-ass factor. Gal Gadot definitely does not have it. I don't buy it.

Tim Budong 12-04-2013 06:53 PM

Why not...Rachel Bilson

just sayin

DanHibiki 12-04-2013 07:59 PM

I'm sure she'll buff up by then.

Her and the flash better be small cameos. I really want to the focus on the developing relationship between batman and superman.

Also I'm a big green lantern fan. I hope there's some small Easter egg or mention of Hal Jordan.

I think Bilson is like 5'1. She's definitely a shorty.

StylinRed 12-04-2013 08:24 PM

you've gotta be kidding.... :seriously: not too surprised i guess but ugh so many better options

Culverin 12-05-2013 03:57 AM

the looks of the actress for Wonder Woman is not as important as how she carries herself.

Oh, and if the costume looks like cheap plasticy crap.
It needs to exude Amazon + Warrior

This looks like shit.

Holywood (especially the non-marvel jokes of comic book movies) needs less plastic, more leather and Sparta.

Batman retired.

Bad news y'all. The movie got pushed back to 2016

Quote:

Following the recent allegation that Ben Affleck had sustained a leg injury that would delay the start of production by six weeks, Warner Bros. just announced that the untitled Man of Steel sequel has been delayed by 10 full months, and the film now shares a 2016 release date with an untitled Marvel Studios film. For all the details and comments from Warner Bros., here's the press release:

Warner Bros. Pictures announces that the release of Zack Snyder’s untitled Superman/Batman film has been moved to May 6, 2016, allowing the filmmakers time to realize fully their vision, given the complex visual nature of the story. The decision was made following the shift of the start of production to second quarter of this year. The Studio has also set a July 17, 2015, worldwide release date for its as-yet-untitled all-new Peter Pan adventure. Joe Wright will direct the epic live-action film about the boy who would never grow up, created by J.M. Barrie. The dual date announcement was made by Dan Fellman, President, Domestic Distribution, and Veronika Kwan Vandenberg, President, International Distribution, Warner Bros. Pictures.

In making the announcement, Fellman stated, “We are happy to take advantage of these coveted summer dates, which are perfect for two of our biggest tentpole releases. We share the fans’ excitement to see DC Comics’ most popular figures, Superman and Batman, together on the big screen for the first time, which will now be arriving in theatres in May 2016. Peter Pan has delighted people of every generation for more than a century, so we are thrilled to bring him back to the screen next summer for today’s moviegoers.”

Kwan Vandenberg added, “We know that there is already great anticipation building for the next Super Hero film from Zack Snyder, and we are equally eager to see what he has in store for Superman and Batman as they share the big screen for the first time ever. The summer release corridor is also perfect for Joe Wright’s ambitious new Peter Pan adventure, reimagining the ageless story of the beloved and forever-young hero for audiences worldwide.” Zack Snyder’s Superman/Batman film stars Henry Cavill, reprising his role as Superman/Clark Kent, and Ben Affleck as Batman/Bruce Wayne. The film will also reunite “Man of Steel” stars Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne and Diane Lane, and also stars Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman/Diana Prince.
