Want some ideas for a fun car I realize these posts come up a lot. I'm not a 16 year old looking for a first car. After numerous discussions with my car guy friends about what car to get next, I've come to a point where I've run out of fun cars I get super excited over to a point where I have to own/drive/try it. Talk about first world problems. Throw some ideas around. Thanks guys. Good luck with maintenance on the FD RX-7. As nice a driver's car as that may be, reliability is not a strong suit for that car, especially when even the newest example of those are already 10+ years old. On the other hand, since you haven't tried a rotrary yet, I would suggest giving a late model RX-8 some thoughts. The car is loads of fun and sufficiently reliable if you stick to the later model years. |

Would agree with an X100 Chaser or R34 GT-T. I would say JDM GC8 STi ver.6 or Mitsubishi Legnum/Galant VR4, but I think both fail to meet some of the criteria. Posted via RS Mobile |

Probably don't meet all your criteria, but I've always thought a Lotus Elise would be a fun little car to rip around in. Not fun to get in or out of, but fun once you're in it.. |
