Where to rent exotic vehicle for wedding?

Looking for a recommendation to a business to rent an exotic vehicle (Bentley, S500, 7 Series, Ferrari , Lamborghini etc) for a wedding.

A google search yields a bunch of local places but looking for personal experiences if any out there

Thanks in advance!

I always had this idea to rent a fancy car for my wedding day.. but it's likely going to cost $500-1000 so I'd rather spend it on other things.

I find that no one really cares what you roll-in because they are all seated when you walk down the aisle.

True I don't think it's necessary either but I'm just a groomsmen here.

I think they were leaning towards limo but if its not a huge price difference being driven around and renting an exotic vehicle they'd opt for the exotic.

If I may make a suggestion, instead of going the exotic route, why not suggest to the groom something a little more... classy.

Nothing says class quite like showing up in a 60's Rolls Royce Silver Cloud or a '48 Bentley Mark VI.

no one cares about the cars, seriously. spend $ on the bachelor party or something. you will regret renting the car as you wont be driving a whole lot and cant enjoy it.

"where's the groomsman?"

"out doing donuts in the parking lot"

Lol @ Time Limo

"wait, let me get this straight. You built a time machine, out of a limo?"

"Well, the way I see it, if you are gonna build a time machine, why not do it with some class"

i know theres a local company that rents out phantoms with a chauffeur but i cant remember their name, they have packages for a certain amount of hours etc... however i looked into it for my cousins wedding and can tell you its ridiculously expensive.

budget rent a car at the airport also has a 2013 white 7 series.

Alby 08-30-2013 09:28 PM

i rented 3 BMWs 3 series. contacted BJ and was told to contact Budget on Gilmore as they handled the rentals. when i was doing the paper work with Budget, i requested 3 328 white BMW and they said no problem. day of wedding, unsure if it was BJ guys or the Budget guys that delieverd, 2 were 328 and 1 was 323. not to mention, when one guy pulled in, he came in too fast and didn't turn fast enough and curbed the rim. i complained and they said they can redeliver the car and redo the paper work for the 323 and i said forget it. i was on a tight schedule and i told them to just note that 1 was a 323 and one had a curbed rim. on the day of return, did vehicle inspections and nothing was noted and we parted ways. when the bill came, i was charged $4xx from BJ BMW.

i called BJ BMW and Budget as to why i was charged when the vehicle inspection was done showed no damage. BMW said i had a nail in the tire and Budget had no clue. i told them that during the inspection, no damage was noted and it could have been the guys that picked up caught the nail. BMW was reluctant to reverse the charge and i called Budget and they didn't back down. i called my credit card company to reverse the charge. BMW called as to why the charges were reversed. i told them to talk to Budget as they were the guys that handled the charges and it wasn't you. Budget came calling and asked why. i told them that during inspection, no damage was found or noted. i also asked them why did BJ BMW have my credit info as it was noted on the paper contract that none of my info will ever be released and would be only used and kept in Budget's system. they were speechless and i moved it up the Budget chain. after that, i received one phone call from the high ups and they said they would investigate and i never heard back from them again. the damage charge was reversed and i didn't have to pay.

overall, it was a shitty experience between the Budget and BJ BMW, but as always, it could just be a single case and doesn't apply to everyone.

Don't bother renting exotics or anything fancy. Nobody gives a shit, and it's not worth the picture opportunity.

We rented white Suburbans/Expeditions and used it for transport.
$140 for the day /Truck.
Cheap. Got the job done.
You're there for the wedding, not an excuse to waste money on a car you drive for maybe 2 hours tops.

And chances are, the guests are going to be drinking. I would rather get them home safe and end the day on a good note.

Thanked everybody who responded in this thread.

The bachelor party will be paid for by us the groomsmen, but I do see your point though and it makes sense.

Duly noted, also not a bad idea.

The wedding took place like how long ago? Chances are, the couple divorced already.

twitchyzero 04-04-2019 06:15 AM

and still paying off the wedding

MG1 04-04-2019 06:26 AM

Any updates, hchang?

I'm curious as to what you ended up getting and if it was worth it or not. How the wedding turned out, the marriage, etc. Yeah........... not much else happening on RS.

!Aznboi128 04-04-2019 07:11 AM

LOL thread revive!

EmperorIS 04-04-2019 08:44 AM

yea no one gives a shit what you drive. You better off spending money on a charlie chaplin clown to entertain the guests.

yray 04-04-2019 08:46 AM

you're better off inviting RS to the wedding than hiring entertainers

MG1 04-04-2019 09:29 AM

Yup, like what I’ve always said, “Why buy tickets to the circus when you can just log onto RS.”

dachinesedude 04-04-2019 12:30 PM

10 years ago maybe, RS is kinda dry these days
