Well lol how can you be no better than someone who killed a baby in cold blood?? That makes no sense. Refering to failers..

Not everyone here believes in the death penalty even for such heinous crimes such as this.

What's the point of threads like this...so much negative news shared here, I swear some of you guys just like finding new reasons to be angry at the world.

Yeah, I thought this was what the "No Need to Start a New Thread..." thread was about. Also, when I first read to title I expected to be some well-known case.

Maybe someone should start a "Crime" thread to post these things in....

Its a sad case. Baby killed before its mothers very eyes. That poor woman will have that image burned into her memory and relive it daily. A 17 year old boy found guilty of doing it who will now spend the rest of his life behind bars. Whyd he do it? What will become of him?
Food for thought, is he better off in jail all his adult life for a crimes he committed as a youth? Is society better off for this as well? Or is there another solution? Perhaps this is why there is no winners in this situation. Two lives needlessly wasted.

According ot the story, this was not the first time the kid robbed a person with a weapon. Mother of the perp is obviously not a model citizen, either. Not sure if a kid like that can be fixed. He will most likely kill again. He's most likely one of those "children without a conscience." I've met a few in my lifetime and let me tell you, you get the most eeriest, creepy vibes from these people.

In any case, nothing will bring the baby back. I feel for the victim's mother. Hope she finds strength to heal (easier said than done). RIP to the baby. Life taken away so early.

Some of you may not be parents and the ones that are understand the pain and rage you feel when you hear these types of stories. If that happened to my son I would want an eye for an eye.

Hopefully he gets put into Gen. Pop. and will get the torture and abuse that he deserves for some time before somebody puts a permanent end to it. Here's to wishful thinking as grim as it may be. Some people are just out to see the world burn and everyone in it, society doesn't need that.

Also another fact about this Mother here, her first born son was stabbed and killed at teh age of 17 years old. Can't even imagine the horror she must feel. She had moved to where she thought was a better area for her son after the first Son was murdered. There is a video of her telling it all and it brought tears to my eyes. And it takes quite a bit for me to shed a tear.

Thats even more terrible how could someone find the strength to live on after loosing two children to needless violence?!

im a strong believer of "eye for an eye"

if someone kills someone and there's witnesses to 100% identify the killer. then yes, I believe he should be killed.

putting him in prison for life is a waste of tax payers money and cell space and having him killed would hopefully set an example for future killers.

I don't care how they kill the person...hang him, lethal injection, firing squad, cement boots, or any other way you can think of...all this kid has to do in prison is at his first meal grab his spork and find the small old guy and dig it into his eye/jugular etc and get himself thrown into solitary confinement where hes safe from all the other prisoners for a while.

fail me all you want, but I think they should just kill the damn kid.

no, I pretty much call anyone younger then me a kid, so its natural for me to refer to an 18 year old as a kid when I talk.

It is good news that he was found guilty. I keep forgetting you need to word things 100% perfectly here.
