Just got a call from someone saying I called them right now. First 3 digits the same, of course. So awkward explaining I never called them.

Bizarre shit going on guys. I am also very curious of the motives of whoever or whatever is behind this. Doesn't seem like it's happening to many ppl tho.

Call spoofing. Nothing you can do to stop spoofers until they decide to change to another number. These calls are routed through multiple service providers and I doubt they will spend any time to track it down.

1. You can either wait it out and hope they stop using your TN.
2. Ask your LSP to change your number temporarily and change it back later.
3. Change your TN permanently

i got miss call from first 3 digits same as my phone # as well... a while ago. I called him and he just said he never called my number before... strange.

I got a missed call from a phone number with the same first 3 digits as mine a few days ago. Weird!! I'm on Fido using an iPhone 5.

I looked through my call logs and I see missed calls from phone numbers with the same first 3 digits since July.

I however did not typed out my number in full...604.two.nine.five folowed by digits.

I got a call one day from the police that I had called them about 2 weeks ago.

Blackberry on fido and my number is all over craigslist.

Thankfully it was just the once, but I really wish people would get better hobbies.

Wow a call to the police, shit is getting ridiculous. Calls to my phone have since stopped... we'll see how long the peace lasts.
