This letter outlines the set-up instructions for vehicle roll-in on Friday, September 13th, 2013 and morning setup on Saturday, September 14th, 2013. Included are the rules and regulations that will be enforced by Envision Events Inc, the City of Vancouver, The Vancouver Convention Centre and the local Fire Department. Please note that this is an indoor event. To expedite the set-up process, please ARRIVE ON TIME and follow all instructions.
Set-Up Instructions
 Vehicle Registration ROLL IN will commence Friday, September 13th, 2013. Please enter the show-grounds between 6:00pm and 10:00pm at The Vancouver Convention Centre at the HALL C bay doors.
 Only 2 people will be permitted entrance in each registered vehicle during roll in. This includes the driver plus one passenger. Only one admission (the vehicle registrant) will be allowed in the venue Saturday morning to prep your vehicle.
 DO NOT BE LATE, if you miss the registration roll-in time, your car will not be parked for competition, and your car will not be judged.
 Present your full name to the official at the entrance gate and check in the DTP AUTO SHOW Registration booth.
 Placement of your vehicle will be on a first come, first serve basis. If you would like to be parked with your car club or vendor, please ARRIVE TOGETHER during your registration time, WE CANNOT guarantee that all of you will be placed together.
Rules and Regulations
 Show times are from 12pm to 10 pm – Saturday September 14th, 2013.
 Once your car has been parked for competition, it may not be started or moved for any reason until the conclusion of the show on Saturday night at 10 PM.
 Failure to comply with rules and regulations may result in disqualification from the show and NO REFUNDS shall be given.
 No DJ setups will be permitted.
 As an added security measure ALL participants will be frisked and have the contents of bags checked and searched for weapons and/or alcohol upon entering The Vancouver Convention Centre. Items considered a threat or potentially harmful to the general public will be confiscated. The Venue Management reserves the right to refuse you entry into the building if you refuse to relinquish items that compromise public/staff safety.
Important
 All vehicles, once parked in the venue will NOT be permitted to start the vehicle. Once placed, you must disconnect your battery and most importantly your alarm. Failure to do so will result in your vehicle being removed from the venue and restricted from showing at future shows. A tow truck will be on hand to remove any participants who do not comply with the rules and regulations of the DTP AUTO SHOW.
 All vehicles MUST roll-in with LESS THEN ONE QUARTER TANK OF FUEL, vehicles attempting to enter the venue with more than one quarter tank of fuel will not be permitted on in the premises and will be required to leave.
 All vehicles owners must bring a dish pan or a flat piece of card board to place under your vehicle in the event of leaking oil. Once your vehicle is placed, the dish pan or card board must be put underneath your vehicle.
Saturday Set-up
 You will be permitted to re-enter the venue Saturday morning, September 14th, 2013 at 9:30 am in order to prep your vehicles. Only people allowed between 9:30am and 12:00pm will be people wearing wristbands/stamps
 Judging will commence at 12:00pm unless announced earlier, we recommend that you are present at your vehicle when judging begins.
 Awards are scheduled to be presented as judging for each category is completed. Although there may still be more traditional awards ceremony towards the end of the event – awards are currently scheduled to be presented at regular intervals throughout the day on the DTP Main Stage.  If you require power for your vehicle, you can pre-order by going to the following link: http://www.dtpautoshow.com/pdf/Elect..._Auto_Show.pdf
 You will be required to purchase power from the Vancouver Convention Centre at their event services booth located on the showroom floor. In order to drop power to your vehicle, you will be required to provide your own converter or portable generator.
Vehicle Displays
 Vehicle Displays that deemed disruptive, objectionable or inappropriate nature, as interpreted by show management, will be removed from the show. This also applies if your vehicle is blocking isle traffic.
 All display vehicles, displays, stickers etc. must remain within your assigned show space at all time. No distribution of literature or placement or literature around the venue will be permitted unless given permission from show management. Music must remain within the confines of your space or played at a level not to interrupt the business of surrounding vendors. Specialized lighting also must remain within the confines of your display space
Models
 DTP AUTO SHOW is an ALL AGES EVENT, if one of your models becomes disruptive to adjacent vendors, staff and/or the show in any way, management reserves the right to stop any such activities and escort the model out of the building immediately.
Food & Drinks
 Outside food or beverages will not be permitted inside the Vancouver Convention Centre.
