Stuck on what to buy! As crazy as this seems I am having a really hard time deciding what to buy. My limit is about 30k, I have my truck for my dd, so I'm looking for something a little older that I can track. Right now I'm contemplating between a 1994 Acura NSX, importing a mint 1997-98 Skyline GTR (auction grade 4B minimum), or an 11-12' STi. Of course the STi is probably the smartest thing to do, but I'm looking for a car that you don't see everyday. Has anybody driven one of these cars that could offer some input? Cheers. |
Between those options you list i would go with the STi |

NSX. |
NSX if you want something eye-catching that you don't see everyday. STIs aren't really special and only car geeks know what a Skyline GTR is, to most people its just an old Nissan. |
STI |
NSX is the way to go.. especially if you got your DD figured out... |
NSX hands down! |
NSX |
25k can get you a clean 700whp c5 z06 in the states. Around 20k for a non-boosted one 405bhp stock. Good bang for the buck if you aren't concerned with a nice interior. Don't see one everyday, can get 30mpg, dealer network across north America and a HUGE aftermarket. |

I'd like to see you get an '11 or '12 Subaru sti for under 30k taxes in. Please post up links (I'm in the same market, looking at new mspd3 & focus st) Posted via RS Mobile |

Being that you have a practical daily, get something impractical as fuck. I vote NSX, or a ridiculously modded r34 from your choices. |
