NHL Gamecenter

Any one order this before? I was thinking of ordering for the up coming season through NHL.com and was wondering how it actually works. If I can stream it through my laptop and then how would I sign in and watch it on my tv. On NHL.com doesn't show I can watch it on my laptop, just says ipad, apple tv, PS3, xbox.

It's an app you can download, all you need to do is create an account, sign in, and its pretty basic from there. Really similar to Netflix.

For something like a laptop or PC, you might have to download it from Google Play

You watch it straight through the browser on the PC. Also keep in mind that you might not be able to watch some Canucks games when they black it out.

You'll need something like unblock-us to spoof it so you can watch all games.

Be aware that there are local blackouts, so without a workaround like Unblock-US, you won't be able to catch Canucks games.

Yea it sucks its not worth your money unless you are living outside the country or you use a work around. Any local game including anything on TSN/CBC is automatically blacked out.

I gave it a try last season since it was discounted.

Did you buy it from NHL.com or did you go through Shaw?

Through NHL.com via their app. I watched it on my TV via my PS3. Could also hook your laptop up too if you wanted.

Basically, this is for out of town games. If u want to to save money, use a proxy and buy the package from a euro or Asia I. Its 100 instead of 149, however, I believe you need to use a proxy or else it will always be blacked out.

I can't confirm the last part.
