They don't taste any different.. where do we locally get the squid with that much ink? If you want to make it yourself at home Santa Barbara has it 400g for $1.5 |
I want the squid ink to make risotto. Don't know where to get it though. |

The thing is it is a mediterranean thing, where the water is a lot warmer than the pacific. I am not sure you get the specific ink type from the squid here, even if you can enough volume. I don't think it is the right climate for us (yet, depending on climate change). Quote:
