There was interest for another RS boarding meet. I would like to get some rough numbers and get the ball rolling.

A couple of years ago we had a group of 6 or so riding together, while another 2 or so were newer and did other stuff. During our lunch break there was at least 10 of us from RS. All in all, I think it was great fun for everyone.

Most likely this will occur on a Saturday or Sunday at CYPRESS MOUNTAIN. Please state which days you are free. Once we get a good list going and the weather looks promising, we can pick a specific day.

I'll be riding in whistler tommorow and I will provide an update on the conditions while I'm there if anyone is planning on going up this weekend. I know they haven't received any snow since the weekend so it should be a hard day of riding tomorrow.

was really warm up at cypress yesterday, rode all day without gloves and all vents open.

T-33 into Humpty Dumpty into Horizons had a few brown spots (most of which are boulders with dirt) and lots of rock scattered throughout the run. At some points everyone was funneled to the left side of the run because there was so much earth/rock exposure. Avoid if you are not using rental gear, I got a nice gash on my board from taking a side hit and landing on a rock

After a day of riding on whistler and blackcomb, it was some pretty good conditions when you factor in that they haven't received snow for almost a week. The snow was pretty dry where you weren't able to make a snowball. The area serviced by harmony chair was awesome. If I wasn't so tired, I would go back up tommorow.

Went up to Cypress over the weekend. Felt like sliding around on concrete. Took a spill and might've caused some perma damage. Will not recommend.

Fuck, one of my 2 buddies I've been riding with for like 16 years broke his collarbone yesterday in the park at seymour. Said its fucking bulletproof up there. Looks like I'll be even less likely to ride this year now, with no one to ride with.

That sucks man, collarbones are the worst. I have broken my left one 4 times, its so badly messed up now that if you punch me hard enough it can break.

This season has gone completely to shit. If we don't get some winter weather before the end of january and into february I think the season is done.

I am going to try and get up to whistler this weekend, but I have a feeling it will be a worthless trip. After that if we don't see some serious snowfall I may just pack up my gear and call it a season. What a waste...

Its to that point for me too man. I'm sick of the "it will get better, there is still so much season left!" comments. The fact is, april runs on the seasons leftovers, January doesn't have anything in the long term forecast, and that leaves us with february/march and we don't even have a fucking base yet. If it dumps a ton in february that can leave us with the last week or 2 of feb and any snow we get in March, which is historically a great month. So basically best case scenario we get 1-1.5 months of some quality pow days. Whistler might not even be able to run the glacier this year over the summer?
