Semi-Philosophical Question
"Take some proposition in which you believe so strongly that is seems almost axiomatic. Give a frank and detailed assessment of your reasons for believing it. Do not argue in favour of your belief, but investigate it and try to account for it. To what extent is your belief based on personal knowledge of the facts? On the authority of others? On the notion that what you hope is true must be true?"
Our class was asked by the prof to think about these questions and I'm really not sure what it's asking, was wondering if anyone here has a better idea of what the question is asking.
Is it something as basic as like ... I believe coffee helps me be more alert in the morning?
BTW this is actually a fourth year entrepreneurship course and I'm sure it'll lead to it but as of right now ... just seems like a philosophy question to me.
Any input would be great, thanks.
