| Good Tattoo Shops in the Lower Mainland?
I'm looking to get some work done (first timer) but have heard of and even seen way too many shitty examples..
Where are the good shops/good artists?

These places definitely look promising.. I went by Fat City and a few others to look through some portfolios and honestly wasn't all that impressed.. I'm being picky but I imagine that's a good thing with something so permanent lol.
SkinnyPup have you been to any of these personally?

I've been recommended to this place by a few different people.

All of the ones suggested does really old school traditional Japanese. I wish there are new school Japanese artist in the city that does work like shige flip leu and Jeff gogue...

SkinnyPup have you been to any of these personally? | No but looking at their portfolios you can tell that they are really good at traditional japanese.
On top of having near flawless technique, they are all fully aware of the 'rules' that must be followed, so you don't end up with a wannabe jap piece that has all these fuckups that knowledgeable people would see (if that matters to you)

Nothing wrong with Monkey King. My artist moved to that shop midway through my piece and they were all nice guys, the place was clean and sanitary and the display work was quite good.
