Looks like this career path works for the Ppl here that enjoy working on their cars and have their mind set on something and go for it. I know there are bad sides for every career out there but if you work hard at it and you enjoy what you do then that's when the money and ease comes in. Thanks, I've made my decision, I will take mechanics and tough it out on low wage for a long while. I've always worked in tough environments and not going to give up my dream of having my own garage just cause it's difficult to find apprenticeship afterwards.

So Ast is better than foundations but also hands-on and you learn everything that foundation does right?

just to bump this thread we are currently looking for a shop helper and an apprentice in our dealership.must have a really nice attitude,good team player and eager to learn.we're a great dealership that has really good benefits and good pay as well.pm me if anyone is interested as we're in need of more bodies right now.
