Is that Lang Lang?

lowside67 10-03-2013 03:56 PM

That's actually pretty classy looking. I don't know if I would immediately identify it as piano related but it's nice to have it look like a special version without looking like some kid's Gran Turismo abortion.

"Piano" theme = black and white colour scheme, not because they're trying to make it look like a baby grand piano.

If indeed that guy is Lang Lang, it makes sense as a "piano" edition as he's a popular concert pianist.

The white panels are kind of ivory-ish colour, and the piping on the doors probably inspired by the bars on sheet music or piano strings. But yes, very subtle; quite nice.

I am aware it's not intended to emulate a Steinway but typically piano is only used in the context of creating the colour "piano black"... ie a high gloss polished black.

This is probably the first special edition Veyron I like. The colour scheme is so classy and understated, and that piano black centre console with black leather :sweetjesus:

Veyron is a ugly car IMO
but this edition really stands out in a good way :gay:

Ferra 10-03-2013 08:49 PM

don't think i will ever like a bugatti...
the car usually reminds me of some super rich oil prince from middle east...basically anyone with money can buy one (usually with oil money or inheritance)
it is more like a toy to flaunt your wealth than about being a truly awesome enthusiast car (e.g. compare to the Ferrari F40/F50/Enzo, Porsche GT..etc)

oh...and it is butt ugly.

My comment was in response to Timpo's in the original post ;) lol Should have specified that, sorry.

Hehe 10-03-2013 10:15 PM

Bugatti's xxx "edition" are so meh... they are basically a stock car with custom paint-job.

If you are gonna use the word edition, at least put something different on (performance-wise... heck, even design-wise). Not some lame paint-job

Manic! 10-04-2013 02:23 AM

Isn't everyone they are making now some type of special edition? My guess is they are making all these special editions to get rid of stock because the regular ones won't sell.

The_AK 10-04-2013 06:31 AM

nice car but too bad that guy looks like a phaggot
