This was just awful coaching by Rose's team, and she's now saying she should have gotten points for "good defense"... So she's not very smart either, having basically been raised by Pat Barry since she was a kid.

Chandler's kick wasn't like Machida or Silvia's kick either. It was a straight up, full force, field goal.

Agree ... sleeper of a night, pretty boring event. I didn't even bother finding livestream.

Fighters are too evenly matched now, so we don't get those superstar making performances like Anderson or GSP where they were just so much better than everyone else it was ridiculous

Even huge fights that are well promoted where you want to see one guy clobber the other, like Usman vs Covington, end up feeling like let downs.. Because even if the fight was a good back and forth fight, we never really got that happy moment or even a finish. Then the feud just ends.

This makes it more of a 'true sport' but also much less exciting a lot of the time.

God I miss the Pride days most of all

Think this is why you'll see UFC or some other organization rise up sometime in the future and put on "fun" fights. Guys of different weight classes against each other, or old veteran Pride style fights.

Pretty big reason why guys like Jake Paul and a lot of these circus act boxing fights have gained so much popularity.

People have become bored with two top contenders having a stalemate in the ring with one another. Too much parity nowadays.

Fight Night on ABC was quite good minus the main event... Poor Li had his Chinese flag taken away from him by UFC lol.. I guess they want him to be the babyface and you can't be a Chinese babyface in 2022? Great KO by him too

Not a whole lot interesting on the card tonight ... milking the Nunes and Pena rematch. Derrick Lewis always entertaining post fight.

I'll say Nunes comes back with a vengeance and wins this one.

That Nunes/Pena fight was brutal at the end there, tough girl.
