Anyone know a good Mazda dealer?

Looking for a 2013 Mazdaspeed 3. Friend of mine tells me there is one at Morrey North Shore. They have 0% financing and I want to get out of my truck into something a little more useful. Anyone know anyone?

I don't know which Mazda dealership is the best but it does help to know the staff.

This might help you out assuming no one chimes in.

don't know anything about what models they have in stock but I'd highly recommend Patrick Curtis. He's the manager at Langley Wolfe.

Says they have one at Langley, but 207kms on it, yuck. Hmm.

where ever you get it, wolfe langley in my experience has the best Mazda service dept.
I think wolfe langley and open road Mazda seem to be the top choices for service on BCMazda 3

Iceman-19 10-16-2013 06:11 PM

Open Road in Pomo? Thats good news since its literally around the corner from me.

you don't like the new redesign? Or is there good incentives on 2013?

mb_ 10-16-2013 06:21 PM

PM'd!

There's price reductions on 2010-2013 models so they can clear them out and make way for the new models

0% over 84 months and pricing incentives.

When I was considering a CX-5 I dealt with Matthew Cha at Signature Mazda. Seemed like a good guy to deal with - pretty up front and easy going. Low pressure.

Great68 10-16-2013 09:12 PM

Signature was good when I bought my car.

Would never let them touch my car for service again though.
Overfilled my oil by almost a full litre.
Made a bunch of scratches trying to remove the upper hood seal (like the tech used a flathead screwdriver to pry each clip out)

Fucking knobs.

Worked at morrey mazda on the north shore a while back. Good group of people working there, they worked hard behind the scenes to help customers out.

None of that shady shit other dealers try to pull.

I'm a bit hesitant to deal with the Morrey auto group after a less than pleasant experience at Morrey Nissan... I was interested in buying an 08 G35X they had for sale, i go in usual bs, take it for a test drive and i really liked it. At that point we go up to their little cubicles in the hallway, i ask if it's been inspected, i get told that "Yes it was inspected at an Infiniti dealer, but you can't see the inspection report as we didn't pay the extra fee to have them print it" I am not kidding either. direct quote from the salesman. At that point i knew he was lying outright and the car hadn't been inspected yet.
So the next day i started dealing with his sales "partner" (they work in pairs) and was finally given an honest answer that it hadn't been inspected yet, and it was going in today for an inspection. Whatever, other salesman was an idiot i can live with that. That evening i got a call from salesman #2 that he ahd emailed me the inspection report, I asked him is there anything on there that wasn't perfect? He tells me NO work is needed, it is perfect. I get home, pull up the inspection report and plain as day it says "Lower control arms and front brakes" need doing. At that point something sketchy was obviously going on so they lost a customer. Returning customer i should mention, had already bought a Nissan Maxima from them about a year earlier.

I don't trust the guys at Morrey Nissan/Morrey Hastings. Brought my car in for oil change and they said my rear pads were down to 20%. I declined the repair. Next time I brought it in the report said I have 60% rear pads left. Also did the door lock recall and they forgot the nuts on the bottom door hinges.

The only reason I bring in my car is because I have the lifetime oil changes with them.

Explain? PM if nescessary.

^Misdiagnosed my car.. Pretty sure one of the cylinders had low compression, but they said it was fine (charged me the full compression/leak down test)

Head gaskets exploded on my MPS6 a week later

I also paid for spark plug changes.. I supplied my own plugs (Denso Irdium). When I opened it up after, they weren't the Denso Irdium ones..

(Mind you my car did have 260,000kms.. driven relatively hard every weekend from Kelowna to Vancouver and back for 2.5 years)

J-Chow 10-18-2013 06:11 AM

Purchased my 14' CX-5 at Destination Mazda. No problems with them whatsoever ....... so far. Cliental service was excellent. Went back to them for my 1st oil change and again, no problems..... so far.

So from my hands on experience, I would recommend.

mx555 10-18-2013 06:26 AM

0% 84 month is not for Mazdaspeed, for regular '13 Mazda 3s. Or, $4000 cash incentive for regular 3 and $6000 cash incentive for speed 3.

I'll second the recommendation to stay the hell away from this place.

Every salesperson there has been extremely unprofessional and incompetent in my three visits. The revolving door of salespeople there also seems to swing particularly quickly.

The_AK 10-18-2013 08:26 AM

if you wire me $40,000 I can pick one up when i head down to LA with my viet tranny gf, real good price too

let me know
