Cleaning/conditioning a leather steering wheel...

Does anyone know how to properly clean/condition a leather steering wheel? I know you can't use a normal leather care product like you would on the seats, as this would leave the wheel slippery etc... Any suggestions?

Some products aren't "slippery". I've been using Armor All Leather Cleaner and Conditioner on my steering wheel and also my Natuzzi couch.

I do not use any other Armour All products and was leery myself, but I have a tendency to buy and try a lot of car products (my wife thinks I have a 'problem'). I was pleasantly surprised with their leather conditioner.

Here's a pic of the bottle:

I use lexol leather cleaner followed by lexol leather conditioner.

No difference in feel before and after.

I always just washed with a mild soap and then polished with shoe wax. Just sold the car with 272,000kms and the wheel was still almost perfect!

shoe wax? you sure that stuff is good for a enclosed interior?

I personally just use warm water + soap.
