Reports of a domestic dispute in a high-rise last night, its reported as police arrived they saw a woman falling from the building, it is said someone has been arrested. Story is still developing but sounds like it may be another murder to end the year (or start it) for Surrey and the province

Maybe because the guy is suicidal? What does this have to do with him being a criminal?

there's nice and bad parts of town in every municipality
but one can easily see why Surrey gets a bad rep
East Van west of Knight and north of Grandview Hwy also looks fucked

LOLOL did you read some of the comments section on the The Province article about the incident. Pretty ridiculous but entertaining.

The cops were there to arrest him. He tried to escape. His friend and GF who were also in the unit confirmed it.

Surrey reminds me of calgary and calgary is terribly built.

speaking of this I got some temp work shoveling snow while I look for work. I tell my boss that I went to one of the lowest ranked highschools in the province (McNair) and that it's where Bindy Johal, and other thugs went.

he goes on this whole rant about "you are dropping names" and you dont know if "im friend or foe" I just inform him that I am talking about the history of my school.

Glad to know that I was working for a biker.

I agree I am being an arrogant prick, but that's because the internets let me. :nyan:

My whole reason for bumping this thread was the homicide statistic for the city of Surrey before the end of 2013.

Then sure enough, less than 120 mins into 2014, Surrey RCMP are chalking up another stiff. Technically speaking, the homicide rate in the city of Surrey for 2014 is already on the rise. There is 19 year-old woman in the morgue already, and if you look at the pics provide by media outlets, this tragic event occurred at a fairly new building. Its pretty hard to just lean on the railing of new balconies and accidentally flip over. I think we can safely assume someone assisted in ensuring the body went over. Reports are saying she fell from the 26th floor.

As they say on Monday Night Football... C'mon Man!! These posts and threads exist because the events are real. Surrey Jacks do exist. The police have one in custody right now.

I dont always go to surrey but when i do

Fuel cut off
Ignition cut off
Alarm on
Park in video recorded area
Hope my car looks dirty and more unwanted than usual
Have 911 speeddial on homescreen
Video recording 24/7 /w sound

Avoid the following :
Cadillac escalade
Lincoln navigator
Most bmw's / mb's
Whalley

Reminds me of East LA / Bronx in NY

Q Why did the Surrey family put a condom on top of their TV?
A It reminded them of the dickhead that stole their VCR.

Q What do Surrey kids get for christmas?
A Burnaby kids' bikes

If something if for sale in surrey theres a 50% I dont even bother looking at the ad. Rather pay more anywhere other.

Oddly enough, both times I've had my car broken into I was at Metrotown. Worked for 2 years at central city mall and nobody touched my car. Go figure.

I don't think you have to pass Surrey to get to Krispy Kreme from Vancouver...

godwin 01-02-2014 12:45 AM

For people who believe in this sentiment obviously haven't left the lower mainland ever in their lives. There are settlements in BC that don't have CLEAN running water, municipal sewage or even electricity, heck even paved roads.

smoothie. 01-02-2014 01:12 AM

So what you're saying is we need to cut water and electricity to lower crime rates?
