only thing i can think of is lower than expected sales due to everyone waiting for the next gen and extremely high stock.

So that ended quick. Just got off the phone with FS support, and the Reserve In Store option is "broken for Call of Duty". When I asked why that was, he replied,

^ My guess is that they have boxes of the games in the back. They'll take out the games that were reserved. The rest will be used for the offer. It'll obviously while supplies last, but since it's not just one day only, I wouldn't be surprised if they held stock over for the other 2 days.

so you figure they'll receive/have stock aside for this? cause the futureshop on bridgeport told me they were sold out too :/ wondering how limited the quantities really are

Whatever I just said is just conjecture. I don't have any inside knowledge, but I can't see Future Shop risking negative publicity if they only had 5 games in every store for this allegedly national story.

What I'm thinking is that if you want to pay full price today, they'll sell it to you no problem. However with next-gen just around the corner, they'll have more copies of the game than in previous years because there's a set of gamers waiting for a copy on their XBone or PS4.
