Worked on Galaxy S3, Galaxy Note 2, and 2 samsung printers. 
Edit: Tried the space trick, that worked for all serials.
They seriously need to fix this... people getting so much free credits.

you guys are still able to redeem codes? I gave a few away but they probably wont get to it in time..maybe i should just redeem them 
Dont feel too bad for Samsung given all the negative shit that's surfaced this year...but I do feel bad for Google haha

Serials from my Note 8.0 and Samsung printer from 2005 worked. Stopped getting emails though.
There's also an iMacros script if you want to automate it...

When is our google credit safe? Do we need to spend it to make sure it can't be removed? Or once it's in Google Wallet they can't remove it?

No one knows when it's safe. Google's TOS mentions they can terminate your account without any warning for any reason. They might do nothing, ban/delete your account, empty your wallet, invalidate unused codes, etc.

i tried using my old samsung a600 phone and the serial doesnt work
i read other samsung products worked (even printers) tried my old dvd player / tv / etc but none of them work :/

After doing this I realized the only real worthwhile app to buy for me is the key for Titanium Backup Pro...the free version was so annoying when you flashed a new ROM and when restoring your apps, you had to click "OK" to each app as it's installed.
