My opinion only, of course, but I fail to see the point in lighting up the cauldron for games that are happening on the other side of the planet. I hope it's paid for by the private sector. I guess our taxes could go toward dumber things, but.
If it is paid for by tax dollars, that means somewhere a program gets cut or a service reduced. Priorities are screwed up a bit. Who are we trying to impress again?

This reminds me of 2010, Canada's first game vs Norway, started out really sluggish, tied 0-0 after the first, but then went on to win 8-0, lets hope its the same this time around again.
I'm not worried either, but Norway has what? 1 NHL'er?....I don't think lack of chemistry is a good enough excuse against a team as such...difference in skill alone should've put some goals up on the scoreboard IMO.
