I agree. Shaun White is a very good snowboarder but to say he's the best.. I dunno about that. There are so many different competitions that it's hard to say one person is the best snowboarder period. I think he would have quite the competition for this year's slope style at the winter olympics. I do enjoy watching him though so I hope he puts on a good show at the half pipe event.

Rooting for mcmorris, parrot and toutant. Hoping at least one of them will bring home a gold for Canada.

I don't think it's far fetched to say white is the best in the half pipe

I remember leading up to the medal round in Vancouver he was soooo hyped that I was like Hah..ok let's see what he can do

He MURDERED the gold effortlessly. I watched a tonne of events throughout the games and there was no one who locked in a gold as well as he did and lived up to all the hype and more imo

Anyone who has understanding of snowboarding knows he isn't the best, or close to the best snowboarder as he's one dimensional as it gets, but thats the general publics idea. The guy is nothing more than a brand like Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen.

That wasn't the case in Whistler. I bought one of the units in Whistler's Athletes Village. Our Athletes Village was finished well ahead of schedule. My current kitchen are was the common space with a temporary wall turning my "now living room" into a second bedroom. . After the Olympics the temporary wall was taken down, the kitchen cabinets and appliances were installed and everything was re-painted. It's well built and a relative bargain. I couldn't be happier! It's truly an Olympic Legacy. (for me anyways)

For slopestyle I was predicting McMorris, Horgmo and White/Parrot for the top three. With Horgmo out due to his CB injury and White backing out to likely focus on Halfpipe, I see McMorris, Parrot and Toots having good chances all around.

Hoping for a sweep for slopestyles, that be so sick.

mcmorris, parrot and toots been to podium before, is just how they can handle the pressure at Sochi.

Looking forward to it.

Thank you x 1000.

In all my years of snowboarding, you're the only person who I've heard say this about Shaun White.

Sooooo true. SW is good, but he's nowhere near the best IMO.

Horgmo and Kotsenburg>SW

Edit: For the record though http://www.petethomasoutdoors.com/20...hi-russia.html

Man CBC's streaming app and site SUCKS. CTV's was so much better in 2010. My iPad keeps freezing in the app, the site tells you all kinds of results while you're trying to navigate to the videos you want to watch. Last time I checked I don't want to know who won/qualified before watching the video. Quite disappointing.
