Watching the four-man bobsled heats, Canada 3 crashed hard... everyone got up and walked away, and got huge cheers from the ENTIRE crowd, and applause and hugs from the other racers. That shows you the true spirit of the Olympics and sport right there: as badly as everyone wants to win, at the end of the day, competing hard and going home safe is the most important thing.

there is some skicross controversy. The French were 1 2 and 3 and the Canadian was 4th but the French were using illegal suits so they might be disqualified.

So every on the interwebz and my facebook wall seem to believe Yuna Kim should have won Gold over Adelina Sotnikova.

I just watched watched both performances and it didn't seem like Yuna Kim blew Adelina Sotnikova out of the water at all. Adelina Sotnikova's jumps seemed like they were way more powerful and had a lot more height. But, what do I know, I have no idea how to score this event...

Watching reruns of alpine skiing........ Canadian skiier got confused and missed completely. Stopped and didn't know where to go. A couple of athletes up top were chuckling at the noob's mistake.

Felt sorry for the noob. Pretty embarrassing, I guess.

bobsled and team are okay after the crash............. for sure I thought someone had broken neck. Slid so far with sled on top of them and their helmets scraping on the ice the whole time.
