I thought the NCIX SSD deals were reasonably good. They were definitely not the money-losing Boxing Day door crashers they had quite a few years ago, but I wasn't expecting them to have those anyway. A business' gotta make money to stay in business.

XFX Radeon HD 7970 Double D 925MHZ 3GB 5.5GHZ DDR5 2XMINI-DP HDMI 2xDVI PCI-E Video Card

Bought this card, dont know if this a good card since theres quite of ppl reporting issues with cooling. Maybe that why they are getting rid of it by selling it cheap? Should I keep it or no?

Keep it but manage the fan speed manually using MSI Afterburner or something similar. Radeon cards tend to run hot. The 7970 is being cleared out because the next gen has been released - the R9 2xx series cards.

someone comment on this? it replaces a 22" Samsung LCD monitor.

I was pondering it all day and decided to get it.

HP 27" IPS LED monitor Model 27BW
$199 (reg $299)

HP's total stunner 27" IPS LED backlit monitor is about to blow your mind. It offers rich, vibrant and crisp images from virtually any angle and a cool, bezel-less design that looks amazing in any space. The space-saving micro-thin design is a dream and the versatile plug-and-play functionality makes dual monitor setup easy.

More Information
•27-inch IPS display

•1920 x 1080 resolution, 7MS Response

•High colour fidelity for bright, vivid and consistent colours

•Plug-and-play with VGA and DVI inputs

wats the model and how much did you buy it for?

Should be fine, its an IPS panel so it has lower refresh rate, not so good for intense gaming like any racing or shooting games (battlefield) but it would be fine for moderate gaming (dota etc

In the market for a new router.

Any point getting an AC one for ~$100? Or just purchase an N dual band for < $40?

You really need something to go on sale that's already so cheap to begin with? Sure $5 is $5 saved but if that was the deciding factor seems kinda silly imo.

Definitely not the deciding factor of whether or not to buy the chromecast, but it would be the deciding factor of where it's bought from.
