Steam Cleaning

Any opinions on steam cleaning the exterior of your ride?

I need your opinions on steam cleaning the exterior of your vehicle. Seems many forum's are divided on this issue. (IMHO)Some people myself included ,say that it's just creating scratches wiping the down the leftover dirty steamed moisture.

In most video posted on u tube . I never see the user inspect, flip or change the microfiber towel . Which I found shocking.Image washing your car and never inspecting your wash mitt. wow.

The advantage I see is the vehicle gets wiped dry, less chemicals or product to buy,and saves water.

Compared to hand washing, and then drying.(touching the same area twice)

Anyhow peeps any info would be great. Thanks in advance Detailing Gods!!!
