Has anyone bought stuff from Habor Freight Tools and got their items shipped to here? I just want to know if there's any hidden stupid fees if I ship it here (Vancouver)? I want to get a torque wrench, but doesn't seem worth shipping to Point Roberts (driving there and picking it up) since it's less than $20 total.
Gonna grab the DeWalt drill and impact kit at HD as well as a tool bag. Hopefully they also have some Klein tools on special as well... they never usually go on sale

HF stuff goes on sale all the time, sign up for their e-mail coupons to get monthly deals. They also have a location in Bellingham, so just drive down to buy it in store.
I was gonna get the Philips 50" 1080P LED Door Crashers @ Target for 399.99, but I must be getting old, as I was just thinking about the line up to go shopping... err ya.... no....
Eventually picked up something from Walmart.ca, Philips 40" 1080P LED, even though it is only 60Hz.... whatever, $299.99 + tax and free shipping to my door, ordered it online at the comfort of my home.
For the extra 10", to spend $112 more and wait maybe 2 to 3 hours in line is just... not worth it IMHO. Plus at the distance I place the TVs, 40" should be plenty LOL... and the TV ships before GT6 WOOT!

People fighting over a 32 inch TV to save what $50. Black Friday is the stupidest idea ever. Why have a massive sale when you it is your biggest shopping season and people will be buy stuff anyways. The idea of a sale is to bring people in when it is slow not when it is the busiest.

But if it wasn't for Black Friday, it wouldn't be busy at all. People used to shop second week of December for Xmas........... at least it used to be this way decades ago. OK, maybe 30, 40+ years ago. Hee hee......
And, to a frugal Asian, Dutch, Jew, Scottsman, etc. 50 bucks is a hella lot........ to poor people, too. Not everyone is swimmin' in disposable income.

Speaking of Keurig......... I'm looking for a Keurig coffee maker for my mom. Simple one is good, as she's 90 years old. The 3 cup size one. I cannot remember where, but it was like 60 bucks. So many flyers to go through, LOL.
.........the Keurig cup deal is good, my friend.
eBates, ftw!

Picked up the 50" Philips TV from Target. Lined up at 6 and was in at 7. Definitely the most orderly and civilized Black Friday lineup. No pushing or shoving. It was a fantastic experience. Posted via RS Mobile

Yup, difference between here and well, there.......
I've always enjoyed line ups up here, whether it be for a game console, new release of game, or even the Imperial Hobby sale, you chill with total strangers and make friends. None of this punch in te head crap.
Another useful "prepare you for life" experience from university...... line ups for everything, LOL. Unless, of course, you were smart and got to register and get books before the masses did .

Anyone went to line up at metro for the free gift cards?
Saw posts on my fb wall people complaining that it was very unorganized with people being told to line up at different locations and a gong show when they opened the doors.
