The 2014 Chevrolet SS

Everything you need to know about the car can be seen here.

Basically, this car is an evolved version of the 2009 Pontiac G8 GXP. Big difference is weight loss and a much more refined interior with useable tech features. LS3 V8 with 6spd auto. No manual is offered at this time but you do get paddle shifters.

The car retails anywhere between $45 - 50k USD. GM shipped only 5000 units in their initial run.

sorry that thing looks butt fucking ugly.

why do GM cars have this commercial vehicle(rental car, taxi, etc) feel to it? It also looks cheap.

The G8 was an ok looking car, I wouldn't buy it, but I could understand why some people would wanted it.
It was a V8 sedan without spending Lexus/Mercedes price tag.

just not a car i can get excited about.

Nothing has really changed on the higher end of GM's cars since coming out of bankruptcy

I think some GM cars are fine. But yea I agree, that Chevy SS thing looks ugly and it doesn't even look exciting.
I think I'd get more excited with a Camry with Tundra V8 in it.

I kinda disagree with nothing has changed with GM cars though.

It even looks like a $25k malibu, and they're asking $45-50k? that's just insane.

If I need a nice sedan, I'd go for Infiniti Q50 or BMW 4 series, if I need something performance oriented, I'd get an EVO or STi for less money.

That thing shows no excitement whatsoever. It probably will depreciate like crazy too.

Spoiler!
Looks tacky as fuck to me.

As for the SS, debadge, dechrome, tint the windows and put better wheels and it'll look a lot better. No Malibu makes that sound, either.

GM USA can keep their weaksauce SS... the aussies understand what a muscle car is, whereas the americans have forgotten what they once had.

ok, I agree that HSV looks nice.

However that still doesn't change the fact that Chevy SS still looks cheap and ugly.
