Yes but when you live at home and your girl does as well... and you put all your money into car parts so you can't rent a hotel, a car is the only option.

Been there, done that... even when I had a place all to my own. It's more about the "what if we get caught" aspect of the act than about comfort... unless you won a panel van with a mattress and shag carpet in the back. In that case, you'll be hard pressed to find a more comfortable 5 star hotel room. lol

In Joes case, he probably doesn't want his parents to find out that he's into dudes.

I say go for it. Make sure it's not a high traffic or patrolled. I have no clues about any of those in lower mainland but go for it. Best way to get over cramped space would be for her to ride you.
