Woah man, that is a lot of people for a 1 year old.

My friend had a huge bday party for his 1 year old. Kid cried the whole time b/c he was so overwhelmed. Everyone wanted to hold him, touch him, play with him, etc. Felt so bad for the kid. He opened some presents but didnt give a shit b/c he had no clue what was going on. He then ate some cake and puked everywhere.

Good times.

For his 2nd birthday, there were, like, 10 people there. Was way better.

Maybe have a couple dinners/lunches/events spread over a few days. Gives the kid a chance to relax and be with more people...just do something more chill.

First birthday is more for the parents as the kid will not even know what is happening.

For my kids first, I rented a section at river Rock buffet. We decided to pay for everyone, but if money is a factor, that is a good way to have people pay for their own meal.

However, 60 people x let's say $18 per head is $1080..might be better off to rent a hall and provide own food.

Might want to look at a banquet hall like this: http://riversidepalace.com/cms2/inde...banquet-room-1 has a max capacity of 150.

and this Bollywood Banquet Halls Ltd. | Quote They have a price calculator on there site and they can do as little as 10 people. You are looking at around $1600 with a DJ and bar with food liquor extra.

there are a lot more.

There is also chuck e cheese.

They gave us a chunk of section near the windows. I'm kind of guessing $18 per head. We didn't get a deal, it was whatever their posted rate is per time of day.

They let us bring in our own cake and gave us plates and serving utensils.

Celebrities.

I've attended one a few months ago at Creekside Community Centre's gym. The kid was 2, but basically it was just kids doing random shit and parents watching over them.. They had kids toys and obsticle courses for them.

That place will hold 60 people.

if theres gonna be a lot of kids theres thunderbird community centre. on sundays you get a gym for an hour with a bouncy castle, ride on toys, play mats, toddler area, hockey stuff. then youre upstairs in a room with all your guest that can fit up to like 100 people. they dont do food but the gym is pretty cool.

I'm guessing by your username, you are philippino?

My wife's flip and we just went to max's on kingsway. They got a private room with kiddie tables too and adult tables. We might actually consider doing our 3 year olds party here.
