Zero looks but can hit 60mph in about 6.2 seconds. It also has some minor handling mods (sway bars & strut towers). I have a build journal on my progress.

You're as old as you feel

:okay:

6.2 seconds is VERY quick dude, not too long ago anything under 7 seconds was considered a genuinely fast car.

tofu1413 07-17-2014 02:01 PM

so I googled the abarth....

0-60mph rated at 6.7 secs.... :notbad:

your buick is still faster than my Fiat :okay:

dared3vil0 07-17-2014 03:39 PM

Googled my car, MotorTrend timed it at 5.8 :troll:

0-60 = 6.2?

How the hell :fulloffuck:

!Aznboi128 07-17-2014 05:52 PM

it's believable my accord hits 60 at 5.9 seconds in the 6-speed 3200lbs, 244hp stock

Any car can look good with some lens work, filters and processing.

If I had a rusty Mercury Bobcat wagon, I'd do the same thing.

Also, HP numbers on these cars are never accurate. Dynos don't even tell the whole story. The 3800 V6 loves the track where its full potential can be unleashed.

Detailed my car a couple weeks back for the first time with a PC, the flakes really pop in the sun. Also, put in some JDM Recaros.

07 TL S 286 hp//256 lbft

07 Accord V6 244 hp//211 lbft

98 Regal GS 240 hp//280 lbft

Must be torque + gearing + apparently the Regal has "torque management to reduce wheel spin". Motherfucker has an eLSD in a Buick. I need to go home and rethink my life.

knight604 07-18-2014 12:06 PM

Yeah its not always about the hp , torque mang!

According to motortrend :concentrate:

0-60 MPH 5.7 sec
QUARTER MILE 14.2 sec @ 98.4 mph
CURB WEIGHT (F/R DIST) 3399 lb (55/45%)
ENGINE 2.0L/274-hp/275-lb-ft turbo DOHC 16-valve I-4
TRANSMISSION 6-speed manual

EDIT: Figure I should put a pic so this doesn't turn into a 0-60 times thread :P
