that just looks like one of those ebay ones.

i think theres one or two huge manufacture in china that mass produce those cheap HIDs, and all the distributers brand it whatever the heck they want.

Another local guy:
HID Powerhouse | LED and HID Lighting Upgrades (FR-S, BRZ, Toyota, Lexus, Scion, HIDs, LEDs)

You can email him to just arrange a place to meet and save on shipping/other costs. He also drives an ISx50 i believe so knows what would be best for the car.

Please do not put HID's into a stock headlight housing. The glare is ridiculously stupid and compared to the stock bulb your visibility with the HID without retrofit is not any better.
You need to do a retro fit.

are you sure about that?

halogens are only 800 to 1,000 lumens, whereas HIDs are 2,800-3,000.

Get a kit from www.theretrofitresource.com
Just smash your headlights, throw them in the dumpster and replace them with candles if you don't plan on a proper retrofit. HIDs in regular halogen lights are not only pointless, they are a danger, or at least annoyance to all other drivers.

Headlights without proper projector lens will not focus the beam properly... plus fsy82 is talking about the blinding lights from NON projector base headlight housing....

This.

There are a number of other problems that may occur when installing HIDs into non-HID housings, not to mention the dangerous and irritating glare it gives to other drivers. It seems that nowadays every clown and his dog has improperly installed HIDs in his vehicle.

And a $40K luxury car without HIDs? Shame on you, Lexus.

from what i remember, he looked at the housing,, to see for glare.. as hid/projectors have proper cutoff.. looked at them for a good 15-20 sec.
