Dealers that don't install paint damage?

Mostly curious but are there any car dealers out there who don't use bristle brushes or other cleaning products that don't end up adding paint damage to cars? Do even the exotic car dealers like Weissach mess up people's paint jobs?

I always tell the dealer to not wash my car although this last time they forgot and did install a bit of damage which I'll polish off come spring. It was nowhere near as bad as I thought it'd be once I got it out into the sun so I suspect it wasn't a bristle brush but it sure was a micro fibre mitt or lambs wool glove.

Got to go see Ken this spring time to remove swirl marks front ,and rear edges of hood.Which they tried to cover up with a paint glaze. Needless to say after the 1st wash swirls reappeared.:failed:

Don't some dealers use touchless car washes (bmw, merc)?

He means when the dealer washes the car, they damage the paint with dirty brushes, mitts etc. We call it DISO - dealer installed swirl option.

The Merc dealer I bought my Audi from offered to wash my car free anytime I wanted. I'm like :blueguy:.

Where was this done? New paint shouldn't be washed for a while so it can cure and harden.
