How do you wire interior LED strips?

Hey everyone. I'm planning on purchasing a few LED strips to mount as footwell lights on my prelude. I'm just wondering how should I wire them up? I've heard that people just tap into the dome light fuse and power it on through there or they splice into their DRL. As a complete noob, what's the best way to do this?

Do you want them on while you drive, or when you open the door? Tap into the appropriate line based on your decision. They draw minimal current, so they don't mess your other lights up by adding some. I have 2 metres of LEDs in my trunk - it lights up like a plane's landing gear.

Use Add-a-fuse and connect to the headlight fuse. Footwell lights will only turn on when you flick the headlights on
