Justice League War

just watched this animation movie last night and it was great! definitely more bad ass than the usual justice league shows. Batman however was a little more "soft" than his usual persona. A must watch!

GLOW 01-23-2014 08:35 AM

the animation seems different from flashpoint and crisis of 2 earths.

haymura 01-23-2014 09:20 AM

its actually similar to the animation of justice league: doom but this has a hint of japanese anime taste to it.

knight604 01-23-2014 10:03 AM

I really did not like the animation for flashpoint. At some points, it took me out of the story because it looked really bad.

Eatman 01-23-2014 11:01 AM

Don't like some of the voice actors, Jason O'mara as Batman and Alan Tudyk as Superman??!?

Favorite Superman voices are Tim Daly and George Newbern. For Batman: Kevin Conroy and Bruce Greenwood

StylinRed 01-23-2014 01:45 PM

why does it seem really familiar like i've watched it before?

DragonChi 01-23-2014 02:30 PM

DC's done a animated movie on Dark Sied already...

It was the one where he kidnaps super girl.

I wonder if there's a DC tv show that's going to be released now that young justice is over...

Yes they have done a darkseid story before with supergirl. It seems like this doesnt really connect with Justice league series and the previous darkseid story because in this story, there is no justice league team yet and neither do they know one another, and it is the first time they meet darkseid. With the supergirl story; superman, batman, wonderwoman knew each other already.

StylinRed 01-23-2014 04:00 PM

ohhhhhhh no, no i know why now it's because i read those particular comics

They replaced it with that stupid teen titans

OriginalJC 01-24-2014 08:48 AM

I watched this, didn't think it was as good as some of the other DC movies they've put out. Why was Batman such a softy and Superman such a badass?

Wow, it's like powerpuff girls turned teen titan... :(

There's been a shortage of good animation lately. I really hope they don't mess up the new reboot coming out. Hopefully they'll pick up where they left off.

The only other good animation out right now is Legend of Korra, and the season ended a couple months ago.

StylinRed 01-24-2014 10:57 AM

i hate how DC/Marvel are constantly cancelling good shows and replacing it with something else DC more than Marvel

notjustforshow 01-24-2014 01:11 PM

I liked this one for the action, but I think this was the "B" team rather than the usual crew that does the WB animated movies. I almost wrote it off since no Kevin Conroy (doubt he will do as many Batman roles in the future).

Eatman 01-24-2014 01:22 PM

^ he'll be in the next Batman, Assault on Arkham

rsx 01-24-2014 05:55 PM

Terrible movie. They pretty much created a movie around Ryan Reynolds - the Green Lantern, ugh it was so dumb.

ShadowBun 01-24-2014 06:05 PM

I liked it, better than flash pt

Gnomes 01-24-2014 09:34 PM

I am too familiar with the WB animation. I have trouble accepting anything else. All these different animation is another reboot, getting sick of reboots.

Welcome to DC Comics fandom hahahahaha

Inaii 01-27-2014 08:13 PM

To me it felt like the characters had all switched personalities. GL was the wise ass (normally it's Flash), Batman was kind of a wimp, Supes was a badass, Diana made zero sense and was way too kiddish for my liking. I did however really enjoy Cyborg's character. At least it didn't have Aquaman though?

knight604 01-27-2014 08:14 PM

Yep terrible voices

hahaha, but aquaman saves superman!

DanHibiki 01-31-2014 01:24 PM

The reason this doesn't seem to connect to any of the previous JL movies or shows is because it's based on The new 52 reboot of DC comics back in 2011.

This movie is pretty much the first handful of issues in the new 52 Justice League and the members sporting their new outfits (batman and superman with no tights)

I don't like how they made Green Lantern an idiot. Hal Jordan is charming and jokes a lot but he's not an idiot when it comes to tactics and fighting. Especially since he's supposed to be an established member of the GL Corp. already.

Superman was just a douchebag.
