2015 Mercedes S-Class Coupe |
|
Rear tail light remind me of the old Lincoln's. |
Posts an essay worth of words without any pics :seriously: |
I dont get it. The CL, SL, E-coupe, & C-coupe, don't already capture the market of an S-Class coupe? Whats next a CLA coupe, and CLS coupe? EDIT: And no, I was not about to read the doctoral dissertation above to find this information... |
That interior though.. Posted via RS Mobile |

This is the perfect car to drive drunk Posted via RS Mobile |
Another baller coupe that will be in the "Sick Cars in Vancouver" thread. :notbad: |
Looks hideous. The interior is the worst. So many long, bare panels. Yea, sure, it's covered by the leather, suede, rare diamonds, plutonium from Mars, etc - who cares. It just looks uninspired. They should've incorporated some layering on the panels. Throw in some nice contrasting stitching, just anything to take away from the barren, boring, plain slabs. Even worse, Mercedes threw in another nice and big garbage can lid to cover the spot which used to incorporate the gear shifter on the center console. Un-in-spired. "We moved the gear shifter to the steering column, so what should we put there in it's place?" "How about a nice, obscenely big lid?" I'm really curious to see what's under there. Not to sound even more critical, but I bet it's something stupid like cup holders or another forgettable amenity. |
Looks like an A5 from the side... Definitely does not have a presence of an S class |
Reading, ain't nobody got time fo dat. |
damnnnn that's super classy imo my dream dd |
the rear looks like an accord coupe.. |
Looks very expensive Posted via RS Mobile |
Something about that front I can't stand. |
quark so gangster....im just trying to imagine what the S65 coupe would look like :sweetjesus: and no it doesn't look like a accord coupe :rukidding: |
S Class coupe? what's the difference between this and SL? |
Growing up with W126 and W140, a lot of the things about the coupes can't be expressed with pictures but have to be physically there. eg doors and windows even though they are pillarless won't rattle and they weigh perfectly just heavy enough and have a good "klunk". Getting in and out of the back seat can be done elegantly relatively when compared with the 3er. It may have the silhouette of an Accord, but when you operate it, the difference is there. The thing I don't like about this generation is the LCD displays, basically giving it a lifetime of about 10 years and a pain in the ass when you doing night driving. |
The car itself looks stunning, the interior as well. Classy yet athletic, a good mix of both. It might just be me, but I find Mercedes's LED light designs the ugliest out of all. It seems to just be strange out-of-place afterthought squished into the headlight design. |
Cars profile looks great. Thats about it for me. This interior looks promising but would need to sit inside to take another look something about that wide angle shot throws proportions off. I think its the wavey lines that aren't showing well with that Cam. |
looks ugly imo would probably look better irl i guess |
still not a fan of all the current gen mercs something about the headlights and tail lights i don't like |
