^Coconut oil at normal room temperature will be in a solid buttery form, which is why it's in a jar.

During the summer on hotter days I notice that the oil starts to turn into a liquid.

I keep it in my kitchen cupboard, but I also made a separate jar for body use. That way I don't contaminate my food.

Fun thing to try -

Try buying a scented massage candle. Light it up, fool around for a while, by the time the wax has melted you just pour it on your gf and it acts as massage oil.

Smells good, fun to use since it adds a little heat to everything, clean ups a breeze, and it's good for skin the as well!

They're usually around 20-30$ per candle and can be used 3-4 times before it runs out

Bingo.

Just use a spoon and scoop out a few spoonfuls of it into a container for use. Take a little bit of it and rub it between your hands and your body heat will melt it.

You can get fractionated coconut oil if you want it in oil form, but it's significantly more expensive. I'd rather spend the $18 at Costco and get the huge tub that'll last you way more times than a bottle of the fractionated stuff.
