Longest I've driven is to Seattle for Paseos lol (speaking of...not really BBQ..but best Cuban sandwich I've had). Posted via RS Mobile | +1 Paseos and Cheesecake Factory definately worth the drive lol

I would drive down to Seattle just for Paseo, and for some good ol' Southern BBQ (since we only have imitators here) on the way back.

I prefer Peckinpah over Memphis, but they both have their ups and downs.

Hit Hogshack on Saturday and had the beef ribs which were very good. fatty, lots of meat and lots of char. There's a bit too much sauce but otherwise good stuff.
The baby back ribs were on the dry side though but I'd still suggest going.

FYI, Seattle Central is a bit shady.
If you still have room, hop over next door to Ezelle's Fried Chicken. Oprah's Favorite Fried Chicken.
