classic food snob. if you want to take a 3 hour trip to eat, fine. don't act like that makes you better then anyone.

Longest I've driven is to Seattle for Paseos lol (speaking of...not really BBQ..but best Cuban sandwich I've had).

I would drive down to Seattle just for Paseo, and for some good ol' Southern BBQ (since we only have imitators here) on the way back.

I prefer Peckinpah over Memphis, but they both have their ups and downs.

Hit Hogshack on Saturday and had the beef ribs which were very good. fatty, lots of meat and lots of char. There's a bit too much sauce but otherwise good stuff.

The baby back ribs were on the dry side though but I'd still suggest going.

The Barbecue Pit in Seattle Central. Must order the Rib Tips and Pulled Pork Sandwich. I'd say order a bit of everything, cause it's gonna be better than here regardless.

FYI, Seattle Central is a bit shady.

If you still have room, hop over next door to Ezelle's Fried Chicken. Oprah's Favorite Fried Chicken.
