Chili oil or XO sauce. You can buy jars of it in some chinese restaurants.

That's not what I was talking about. Its more like w paste then a sauce. It looks like siracha, but its not siracha. Sometimes they give it too you along with hot yellow mustard.

didnt wanna start a new thread but does anyone know what kind of hot sauce they use at dim sum restraunts?

its the red sauce that looks like siracha but not as spicy and its alot more sour/vinegary

They used to make their own ketchup in-house years ago, but Im pretty sure its Heinz since that's the brand on their packaged ketchup,
