CRV '11 Aftermarket HU install --> keyless does not work

Hi guys,

I did my HU install today and i forgot to unplug the battery before my swap. So basically, I got a scosche kit when I bought my pioneer AVH-4500BT; then, I just followed the colour between scosche honda adapter and the pioneer socket. Black goes to black, white-black stripe goes to white-black stripe and so on.

Then, after everything and I plugged the pioneer socket to the HU, it does not turn on. I was thinking maybe I did the wiring wrong. Then I plugged the previous HU with it's wiring back on, it also did not turn on.

I closed the door and tried to lock the car, the keyless did not work and the power lock door also does not work without the car is being ACC or On.

Could it be the fuse that I've blown? If there is, does anyone have the diagram of which fuse should I replace?

If not the fuse, what would it be?

I really need help.. Thanks

Fuses for that car is in 2 locations.
1. near the foot rest/under the steering column
2. under the hood

I believe the one for the radio is fuse #34 near the foot rest. The tool to remove the fuses is located in the fuse box under the hood.

Yes, it's indeed the fuse but it's the one under the hood. I forgot to see which number was that but it's the 10 ampere one.

The next question is: why the HU turns on every time I start the car or just on the ACC before starting up the car? On my previous pioneer HU, it's just started as standby mode until I press the power button. Any idea?

Did you mix up the +12V constant and +12V acc wires?

As far as I know, what you're experiencing now, with the HU turning on is normal. starting up in standby mode makes me think there is a wiring problem, probably what IMASA said.

So if the HU starts up automatically when I start the car, that's normal or not? What I did was basically just matching colour between the pioneer socket and the stock socket.

Another thing that I discovered today, when I don't have USB plugged in, the HU won't start automatically but when I have the USB plugged then it does start automatically.
