My new car
 

About four weeks ago I purchased a car that represents a lot of great times for me and my life. It is a 1970 Dodge Dart Swinger! I was going to bring it to the Revscene meet but was unable to attend due to extenuating circumstances.

Specs:

- B5 blue with bumblebee stripes. Black interior
- Base Swinger model that came with a 318 V8 and AC originally
- Originally a California car
- Built in Windsor, Ontario
- 3 speed automatic, 727 transmission
- 323 gears
- Now has a 1967 Charger 383 Big Block V8 (300 hp stock)
- AM radio (woot!)
- Manual drum brakes
- Manual steering

What has been done before I bought it:

- New suspension
- New shorty headers and custom exhaust
- Aluminum radiator
- Full rotisserie restoration, paint and body all new
- New carpets, dash and seat covers
- New gas tank
- New headliner
- New brakes and master cylinder
- Sound deadened floor
- New Steering rack and torsion bars
- New bumper and lights all around

Stuff to do:

- Stereo! LOL
- New headlight conversions
- Possibly 17" retro wheels
- Disc brake with booster conversion
- more sound deadening
- Slight lowering

Hate to say, but adding more sound deadening to that thing is going to be a fruitless act, especially with that 383 burbling out sweet, sweet music out of the tailpipe.
