Since we're on the topic, has anyone ever had their seat reupholstered? Have a Bride seat in need of some love. Gonna call around and get price quotes this week but just curious otherwise.

velocity did the side bolsters on some recaros i threw into my golf.

i was happy with his work. he's well known in the vw community.

Hey guys, i just called up 2 places Velocity and Pacific auto trim.

Velocity: $400 (yikes) and thats including all the custom work, such as alcantara, stripe on top to your w.e preference.
Pacific Auto Trim: $225 just for re-wrapping and additional $50 for thickening, They also told me there will be an additional cost if we want some custom stuff done.

I might just forget about the stripe and just get the wheel re-wrapped and thicken it at pacific auto. Anyone still in? or did that price scare everyone away haha
They seem to not really care about any sort of group buy. I mentioned it to them and it didnt really make much of a difference.

Having seen the quality of work at Velocity I might end up going that route. I want to redo my headliner as well, and being that my interior is where I spend so much time I rather spend the money and have it done right.

Kinda lame that they don't want to give any better pricing for a group of 10+ people.

I can buy a new wheel already thickened and alcantara wrapped for $360 so would be kinda pointless for me.

Eh, think I'll just opt for a tri-spoke wheel
