Our dog gets Blue Buffalo. We switched him over to the duck recipe, and he doesn't seen to like it, so it's back to chicken we go!

mine been eating blue buffalo since i brought him home, switching between chicken/lamb. Bought the biggest bag you can find in petsmart, way cheaper than buying 5lb bags, i think eventually it works out to be buy 4 and get 1 free (if you do the math $/lb)

I use Orijen. Same brand as acana but with higher meat content, free range animals (when applicable) higher protein, and less carbs. Its expensive as fuck though, although I truly believe a quality diet is an investment in health. It will save you money on vet bills, and have a happier pet. Acana is good quality food for a reasonable price, I'd say stick with it. Although what size acana food and diet are you picking up? 2 bags @ 70 bucks a month is a LOT of food. 2 big dogs I'm assuming? Also, Tisol has a deal with orijen, and I assume acana since they are the same company that when you buy 11 bags you get the 12th free.

Royal Canin. My dog loves it and has vomited like 3 times in 4 years so I will keep her on it. I have heard mixed reviews of the quality though and its not cheap.

My dog used to be on orijen, good food with a lot of meat content and no grains, but now he's on a dehydrated raw diet with honest kitchen. Approximately the same cost of orijen but probably a better food for them. For instance, when he got into his orijen bag, he overate and had the runs for the next couple days but when he got into the honest kitchen, he was fine so i'm guessing the dehydrated is less taxing on their body

+1. knight used to be on royal canin but one day he just stopped eating the kibble and refused to eat it ever again so i switched him to that "Now!" brand. that stuff was ok for a bit, but there was something either lacking in the kibble or something that he wasn't reacting to very well in it which fucked up his coat for a while. now i've got the degenerate on orijen and all is well!! i've honestly only fed this guy good food. someone once told me that pedigree is like the mcdonalds version of dog food so i've stayed away from it ever since..

is it wrong that my dog eats healthier than i do? lol.

all bosleys do that

My dogs been limited to Z/D hypoallergenic dog food for awhile now ... he developed allergies in the past ~year, but before that he had fresh chicken breast/eggs/ground beef on the daily and occasionally pork/lamb

Had bloodwork done and my dogs apparently allergic to chicken, beef, lamb, and duck. Anyone else got a hypoallergenic dog food their dog likes?

For my pug, I buy Acana light and fit, he used to be on the Costco Nature's Domain, but someone suggested I'd go light and fit with Acana since he's a pug. He'll eat anything i throw at him though, lol As a puppy he was on Orijen. The 30 pound bag costs $59.99 plus tax at Van pets, and they do have that buy 10 get one bag free deal.

I have my frenchie on acana Ranchlands. He was on kirkland before that. From what I was told, the salmon flavoured kirkland is made by taste of the wild.

For kibble we were giving ours Riplee's Ranch - they don't sell through stores, it's all home delivery. I'd usually split a half-can of tripe between the dogs to go with it.

The last few months though, they've all be on raw, either Nature's Instinct, or Primal - both are available in bags of 1oz portions that I can just thaw quickly in the microwave for them. Biggest plus has been that they all have small, solid poops that are never runny or mushy and so are very easy to pick up (especially good if someone has an accident indoors).

I'd swear, too, since they've been on raw, Taffy (14+) has been perkier, holding her head up more, and seems to be in noticeably better health.

how long does that 44lb box last? this would be cheaper than the kibble i currently buy which cost about $92 for a 15lb bag.

Used to buy Fromm until the local shop stopped carrying them. Then switched to Orijen. Fromm was cheaper than Orijen.

None of those two give any issues and my dog is healthy and his hair is pretty fine.

Bosley's and Tisol both have the promo for a free bag of Orijen after you buy so many bags
