Finally updated to 33R the other night after holding off for so long. Its plagued with touchsceen issues. Notably, when I try to zoom in on photos, camera, webpages, anything that requires the two finger pinch gesture will make the screen go crazy. Hopefully the next OTA is just around the corner, too much work to downgrade firmware.

i was wondering wtf is wrong with my phone .... and either i am typing too fast or my TouchPal keyboard licks balls... always get sticky (swype) and ended up picking the wrong word for me.

People have started getting 38R, apparently battery life rivals that of 25R and is supposedly better too. Just checked but I haven't gotten the prompt yet for the update.

Build date Aug 19th just means the firmware you are on, 33R, was built Aug 19th. So its irrelevant.

As for the quote, not sure about the first part, but yea you have to go chronologically for updates. I should have waited until people were reporting they were getting 38R on here, and then update to 33R and quickly over to 38R as my phone is very glitchy right now on 33R touchscreen wise.

What type of touch screen issues should I be looking for? I can pinch to zoom in and out just fine. Same thing with Google maps when rotating with two fingures

I have the same issue sometimes as well with the pinch zoom. Usually a reboot fix it for me. Only happened on 33R though. It's been great since I upgraded to 38R.

So.. Any local shops have decent cases and screen protectors for the phone? Ordered 64gb yesterday but realized most places have like a 3 week wait for shipping on accessories.

Check amazon.ca. If you are a student still, you might be able to still get free Prime shipping, if not ask a friend to help you. You should be able to get a case in 2 days or so, could arrive earlier or same time as your phone. They also sell the TGPs on amazon.

Already ordered the red diztronic case yesterday. Says my orders should arrive on Oct 20 lol
