21 Pages and probably 20 of them are people asking for invites lol.

Does anyone know if the nightmarkets have accessories for the OPO?

Also, there's a good thread on the official forums that say the type of charging cable greatly affects charging time.

All I can say is DO NOT INSTALL COLOROS!!!
Had a hell of a time getting back to another rom... colorOS replaces your recovery to their own.. it sucks...

it's annoying but pretty straight forward once you've done it once. Just have to fastboot load a custom recovery, then wipe system, install from zip any other rom.

May I have an invite please?

anyone having reception issues with Rogers? I manually set the LTE APN. Phone keeps flipping between LTE/H+/3G and in general has bad reception

I don't have this yellow screen that people are talking about.

I may be the lucky ones.

Friends,

Time passes quickly and another exciting month has gone. Last month we promised we’d focus on shareable invites, and everyone who purchased a One before August will receive 3 invites to share with friends. We exceeded that goal by sending shareables to all those customers and more. As a result, many of your friends and family are enjoying the One. Thank you for sharing our product, our brand, and our mission.

Going forward into October, invites will continue to roll out but with some added methods. Those of you who purchased the device will still be receiving 3 shareable invites chronologically by purchase date. Forum members will also continue to receive individual invites. However, those who have spread the word most effectively will be receiving additional invites! You are our biggest supporters; thank you and please don’t stop! Lastly, we noticed some people are still having trouble finding invites. Thus, in an effort to get the phone into active fans’ hands, we have something up our sleeve. Stay tuned for more details in the coming days. :)

I’d also like to address invites after the pre-order system which will debut late October. The pre-order system will not replace invites. Instead, invites will act as a way to skip the wait time and have your preordered One shipped out immediately.

By the end of October, the aim is to get a OnePlus One into all our long time supporters’ hands. You guys have waited long enough. Never Settle!
.

I don't have the yellow banding as well. When is your phone's build date, J_____?

Guess that means no pre order system.... hopefully with the One + One 2 they won't use the invite system and just do the pre order insteaed.

can anyone provide all the rogers LTE apn info? i plugged in my sim card and the rogers LTE apn showed up. i clicked on it but from where i am, on my old S4, i used to get low signal for LTE or be on 4G. with the OPO , all im getting is H+ and 3G bouncing back and forth.

TOS'd 10-04-2014 09:09 PM

Try these two fixes

Settings > Mobile Network > Preferred network type > LTE (recommended)

Pull down status bar from top right > + > ADD > LTE > Make sure its activated(can remove it after activating as well)

I don't have the yellow band.

My complaint about this phone, which is the same complaint that almost everyone has (at least on XDA), is that the touchscreen sucks for anything close to fast typing.

Keystrokes get registered as swipes, the phone auto swipes left with Swiftkey which means it erases the last word, scrolling my Instagram feed with one finger causes photos to get auto-liked, holding my finger in Chrome causes the page to bug out, things like that.

Really annoying that the problem isn't software but is a problem with the phone's Synaptics driver. I love that the phone is a SIGNIFICANT upgrade from my Galaxy SIII but the touchscreen is the only blemish to an otherwise great phone.

the highest option i get for preferred network type is 4G. LTE is activated. i've read somewhere that in CM11S, 4G = LTE. can anyone confirm that? or am i suppose to have LTE icon as opposed to 4G.

TOS'd 10-05-2014 12:05 AM

I have LTE icon, I think I recall the firmware the phone came with did not show LTE, rather 4G. What firmware are you on? Since updating once after receiving my phone, it shows LTE.

Alby 10-05-2014 12:07 AM

my phone did show a system update which i ignored for now. maybe i should get on that and see what happens.

When you're on the Rogers Network, go to: Mobile Networks > Access Point Names and select the Rogers LTE APN.

I had the same problem you had, but was fixed when I selected the LTE APN.
