The Korean Intellectual Property Office recently published Samsung’s patent application for an earphone that seems to be a compact Bluetooth headset and smart glass rolled into one whose shape quickly calls to mind a familiar object in Dragon Ball Z — the scouter.
I honestly think this is a lame attempt to by-pass Google Glass patents (yes, Google actually patented the way they mount/integrate Glass). It means that there is no supporting points on vertical level. It relies 100% on the ear piece to hold the thing in place; meaning putting all weights around your ears.

This. Considering my thick glasses hurt my ears after extended wear (-7.00 prescription and mid-level index lens) I sure hope Samsung makes these things as light as possible, like a bluetooth headset. Can't imagine how much these would hurt if they were heavy...
