on your gopro to get these pics, are you actually using the photo function? or just screen capping the video on your comp

Mostly the dedicated photo function. My GoPro is the original GoPro Hero HD from 2009/2010 so even if I shoot at 1080p the resolution from extracting stills is very low. Plus, at that resolution the GoPro narrows the FOV to something too tight for my liking.

The photo mode gives the full UWA FOV and much more resolution to work with. I'm constantly impressed with the quality considering the device is 5 years old now! :)

do you set it to time lapse photo? to automatically take shots every 5 seconds or something? i know with my hero 3+ i could use the wireless remote, but talk about distracted riding!

Yup! That's basically what I did. Set it to take a photo every X seconds! My GoPro is way to old for Wifi or remote control. :)

Did a little STS run to Squamish today to test the air quality for tomorrow's Whistler ride and on the way back popped into Porteau Cove Provincial Park. It's really nice in there! Nice enough to swim!

There was a collection of supercars doing a bit of a photoshoot too.

It's starting to get a little bit chilly when you climb the mountains ...

I think this rear shot is pretty fun.

Definitely a unique angle here... I find bike suspensions fascinating.

Finally got behind a prime lens again.

The bike is a 2006 but still only has about 7,000KMs on it... that said, braking performance is atrocious and it's the one thing I'v never addressed with this bike (and I suspect the previous owner never touched). I have been debating between new brake fluid/pads and new brake fluids/pads/rotors for the new season. I think new pads and fluid would probably make a monumental change over my current experience but I'm not sure if the ROI would be worth it to do rotors as well.

Any recommendations on street pads? Is it worth upgrading brake lines as well at this point?

I always started with brakes in my project cars (ITR, STI, GT-R) so I feel very guilty that it's the one thing I have neglected with my bike.

Brake master cylinder (in addition to new pads) would net you the biggest change in stopping power
