Um noo. This car deserves to be owned by a mature adult and collector plated. Would hate to see it “slammed” on cut springs and sticker bombed.

It’s in okay shape paint looks dull in the photos and big scuff on the front passenger corner of the bumper / bumper isn’t aligned properly.

I mean it’s pretty base model I don’t think it’s like “must be kept in stasis for time” collector level tho... too pedestrian

I’d love to own it if I had room but I’d definitely be looking at some drivetrain options. 130hp and automatic will get boring pretty fast and it can’t be a daily on collector plates.

actually that's exactly what I would like to see happen to it. I wouldn't be a car enthusiast now if I hadn't started tinkering on my hand me down high school tercel, and nor would many of us be.

collector plating this would be dumb. What are you going to do? take it to one cars and coffee meet a month in the summer? are you going to put 10k into an OEM quality paint job?

I wish that they would revamp the collector plate requirements - the fact that this is anywhere near eligible defeats the purpose of the program. Most of the collector plates I see these days are clearly on cars that are abusing the system to get cheap insurance.

(having said that - insurance for this car should be dirt cheap - there should be a way to make this more affordable to insure without collector plating it)

C'mon... throw a Chargespeed or Wald catalogue at it and call it a day.

65,000 KM 325ci, would make a nice daily or weekend cruiser.

‘17 focus RS for 29k which is about 10k less than market value. Must be a fake ad because that’s way way way under value

Information listed from the Ad is basant motors in Surrey. don't see it in the inventory. But doubt they will post anything in during the weekend

underscore 06-27-2020 03:21 PM

Google and TinEye don't have any hits for the picture but a single photo ad with no mileage seems weird.

Marketplace is trash and won't allow you to post the ad if it thinks your price is too high for that model of vehicle, regardless of trim level.

how would you even verify the km if the "Battery isn't working"

JesseBlue 06-27-2020 08:22 PM

It's a tactic called ignorance.

Porsche 911 C2 manual 2007 - $39000

Well maintained, black on black, accident free, manual C2 coupe. Base spec. Sunroof, 3.6 litre, xenon, power seats, chrono, 18" wheels.

I have every service receipt since 2008. Carfax from 2017 when I bought it. Clutch and rms 2017, water pump, front shocks, battery, recently serviced. TechArt mufflers.

Most of my 15,000km have been on longer trips and it is an outstanding companion, not tiring in the least.

That sounded almost like synthesized from Gran Turismo....

JDMDreams 06-30-2020 09:08 PM

^^ Japanese V8 sounds no where as angry as the Germans or as high revving as the Italians. Sadly even American v8s sounds better:okay:

68style 07-01-2020 12:09 AM

^ It's also not blowing smoke of any sort like an 8+ year old German or Italian V8 would be free-revving like that :troll:

I really don't see the point of exhaust vids if the cars just sitting there in neutral. You kinda need to hear it under load to really get a feel
