Woof, those 7G-tronics are supposed to be VERY reliable/durable units if maintained... they stuck them in nearly every car in the lineup in that era.
If it needed a replacement at 132,000KM, that ain't good news.

Bought two 2nd gens and a first gen. The first gen blacktop engine was sooooooooooo smooth!!!
